At Magnolia Doors, we strive to provide our clients with superior service, quality, and communication. Please review our terms and condition content prior to placing an order through our website.
WARRANTY / DISCLAIMER
Magnolia Doors guarantees that all iron doors, windows, and other products will be free from defect in material and craftsmanship for 5-year period after the initial purchase date. All products are hand crafted and hand finished, therefore are unique to each owner; variations in finish and design are common in finished products. A defective product will be repair or replace at Magnolia Doors sole discretion. This limited warranty is applicable to products sold in the United States.
We ask you to keep in mind that exposure to natural elements and frequent use is expected to cause Magnolia Doors, windows, and other products purchased naturally age. Magnolia Doors do not recommend direct exposure to water, any damages or changes to the products brought on by frequent use or exposure to the elements is considered an organic process that cannot be prevented, and is not thought to be a defect that is covered by the terms and conditions of this site. Any exposure to moisture/water may lead to rust as this is a metal product if not wiped immediately. Do not use water to wash the doors as this will lead to the door rusting. Magnolia Doors cannot be held liable for any damages due to exposure to water/moisture.
Hardware and Components – Locks and hinges will be warranted for a period of one (1) year. All hardware products should be cleaned and maintained as recommended below and as frequently as necessary. Hardware in coastal and saltwater environments should be cleaned and maintained every other month as a minimum and more frequently to prevent buildup of saltwater or corrosive residue.
The paint and finish that was professionally applied byMagnolia Doorsis warrantied for two (2) years of purchase date, this warranty covers defects in material and workmanship for the original, manufacturer applied paint finish.
- Peeling paint or any other damages caused by condensation or improper use and scratches are not covered under this warranty.
- Stained or faux finishes are covered for one (1) year.
- Dark tinted, painted, or stained colors are not under warranty against fading.
Our express limited warranty sets forth our maximum liability for our products. No one is authorized to modify or expand this express limited warranty. The absolute limit of our liability is the product purchase price from Magnolia Doors. We shall not be liable for special, indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages of any kind and all such claims are waived to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Your sole or exclusive remedy with respect to any and all losses and damages resulting from any cause whatsoever as specified herein.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
All goods purchased from Magnolia Doors must be paid in full prior to any arranged delivery and are subject to this agreement. Orders may be paid for using the following methods: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, cashier’s checks, and personal checks by mail. All non-credit-card orders are subject to a 10-business-day hold until the payment clear in our bank account. We reserve the right to require cashier check, personal check or wire transfer for orders over $5,000.00. Custom made goods are specially made to order items or goods that are deemed to be such by Magnolia Doors. Should the customer change or cancel the custom order after it has been lodged, any additional chargers incurred shall be paid by the customer.
Any in stock items purchased on order that are subsequently cancelled incur a restocking fee of 25% of the purchase price, which will be withheld by Magnolia Doors.
ALL SPECIAL ORDERS SUCH AS PRE-HUNG DOORS, PRE-FINISH DOORS AND CUSTOM SIZE DOORS ARE NON-RETURNABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE.
All lead times quoted by Magnolia Doors on submission of deposit are best estimates and are acknowledged to be approximate and may be affected by circumstances beyond Magnolia Doors control which may cause delays. Any delay does not constitute breach of condition on which this agreement can be avoided.
The customer will be contacted via telephone, or any agreed contact method, once Magnolia Doors receives the goods.
Once payment of the purchase price and delivery to the customer is complete, ownership passes from Magnolia Doors to the customer.
Any goods purchased on order that remain uncollected after 30 days from contact will incur a weekly storage fee of 5% of the purchase price starting from the 31st day that the goods remain uncollected.
Acceptance of any other negotiations in regard to unwanted or returned goods is entirely at Magnolia Doors discretion.
DELIVERY OF GOODS
The purchase price of goods excludes any cost for delivery, a competitive delivery service is available to most destinations throughout USA. The Freight of all items is quoted individually. The Buyer is responsible for all fright and handling charges for goods being sent. Once the goods have left the control of Magnolia Doors. Magnolia Doors shall not be responsible for any damage or loss arising from the use of any carrier. Magnolia Doors shall not be responsible for insurance cover on any delivery. The condition of your goods must be checked at the time of receiving the items. Please inspect your items when they are delivered by the courier before signing for their receipt.
ACCEPTANCE
Buyer must give notice to Magnolia Doors of any claim for damages on account of condition, quality, or grade of the goods, and Buyer must specify the basis of the claim in detail. Failure of Buyer to comply with these conditions will constitute irrevocable acceptance of the goods by Buyer. We will not be liable for any damage to any of the products unless we are notified at the time of delivery.
Installation and/or use of any door product constitutes customer’s acceptance. No damage or shortage claim can be made once a door/unit has been installed.
RETURN POLICY
Magnolia Doors is committed to doing everything we can from production to shipping in order to keep our loyal customers satisfied with their purchase. If you’re not fully satisfied with our product upon receiving your order, please let us know within thirty (30) days of the date products are delivered and prior to installation or an attempt to install, your purchase can be returned to Magnolia Doors for a refund. Please note that a 25% restocking fee will be charged for the return, and Magnolia Doors has the right to charge for any damages that may have occurred to the product(s). The product must be packed in its original packaging material. If packaging material is unusable, please contact our Customer Service department prior to return. When the products are sent back for return or exchange, the buyer will be responsible for the cost of return shipping and assume liability for any damage incurred during the return transit. Delivery fees are not refundable.
LIABILITY OF MAGNOLIA DOORS
Magnolia Doors shall not be under any liability whether in contract, tort or otherwise from any cause whatsoever, whether occasioned by negligence or otherwise, for any injury, damage or loss, including consequential damage or loss whether to persons or property, arising out of this contact or the goods and services supplied pursuant hereto including any defects therein or anything connected therewith or with repair or replacement or any other work related thereto.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Normal and regular maintenance is required to maintain the appearance and extend the finish life and maintain proper operation.
The following maintenance procedures are recommended.
- Your custom product must clean occasionally (every other month) to ensure a long life.
- Remove surface contaminants by wiping visible surfaces with a damp soft cloth and a mild detergent, then wipe dry with a clean cloth.
- Using a suitable applicator spread a small amount of clear petroleum jelly or similar lubricant.
APPLICABLE AND GOVERNING LAW
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the various states and of the United States. You agree and represent that you are buying for your own personal use only, and not for resale or export.
These terms and conditions shall for all purposes be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas as those laws are applied to contracts entered into and to be performed entirely in Texas, without regard to conflicts of law provisions. Any suit or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be commenced exclusively in state or federal court in Bexar County, Texas, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
